This is a great place to escape. Nazareth is close to Amarillo yet far enough away to appreciate the old fashioned goodness of this community. Marlene and Dale will truly make you feel at home. The Inn is beautiful with lots of great stories you'll hear about. You will miss out if you don't have meals here too. The price of any of their rooms or cabins and meals are a bargain.

I am so late in commenting on this! Sorry to those who have missed out due to my tardiness! I want you to know Marlene and Dale are the best!!! The new cabins are an amazing place to stay. We have stayed in the main house before and loved it! The cabins are just more rustic, each having their own theme from businesses in the area. Marlene and Dale are the best hosts and full of local trivia! I would recommend Yellow Rose Inn and Cabins to everyone!! We were the first ones to stay in the first cabin ready and can't wait to go back and stay in a different one!

We were working in the area and decided to stay at the Yellow Rose Inn for the 5 night duration. Dale and Marlene were very gracious hosts making us feel like we had known them for years with their small town hospitality. We enjoyed a wonderful home cooked breakfast each morning and regretted having to go to work each day. The highlight of our stay was taking time to visit the Up In Arms Museum. Dale's wealth of historical information captivated us for several hours, His collection is coveted by national museums and collectors. We plan on returning for more of their hospitality and to stay in another one of their unique accommodations. Of course, we also need to finish our tour of their Museum.....

My family and friends recently stayed at the Yellow Rose for my son's wedding July 21st. Everyone loved the place and the attention to detail in every room...gun belt hanging on the bedpost, books about Texas, and the cabins are super cute. My favorite was the car themed cabin. I also hosted my son's rehearsal dinner at the inn and it worked out fabulous. Marlene and her family made the side dishes, which were wonderful. Homemade rolls were a huge hit! Everyone enjoyed the back yard and gazebo and the large brick patio in back. We served about 70 people for the event and everyone loved the Inn and the unique spaces Marlene and Dale created. The little kids played in the sandbox and the big kids played the bean bag game cornhole in the backyard. Adults enjoyed the food and conversation. We got a breeze and a beautiful sunset which was visible from the patio. I would definitely recommend the Yellow Rose for a weekend stay and it is a wonderful place to have a party like our rehearsal dinner. Nazareth is a small town, but the Yellow Rose offers big city accommodations and a friendly, welcoming presence for Nazareth.

We were delighted with the Inn. Every detail has been thought of, our hosts are exceptional at customer service. Compares to a Hilton or Hyatt, but way more cozy.....

We enjoyed our stay. Dale and Marlene made us feel like family. We stayed in the automobile themed cabin which was very comfortable. My only regret was not having time to visit the museum.....

The Yellow Rose Inn in Nazareth, TX is a clean and unique destination, with additional cabins and period decor! It’s a welcoming Texas family setting that includes event space, the Up in Arms Museum, and a thoughtful outdoor children’s area. We were treated like family while we enjoyed Marlene’s scrumptious breakfasts that included gluten-free, low carb selections. The big attraction on site is the Up in Arms Museum. Dale Acker, curator, tirelessly shared his amazing collection and knowledge of its history with entertaining stories in a private setting. We were mesmerized for hours! Additional attractions in the area include the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum in Canyon, TX and Palo Duro Canyon State Park and amphitheater where the musical extravaganza “Texas” is performed. We will be back for that and to see what new historical finds Dale has added to his impressive collection!....
